Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance Transformation leader with strong experience across operational finance, reporting governance, and cross-functional transformation initiatives. This role will support a high-impact program focused on improving governance, reporting accuracy, and cost optimization across Refunds & Appeasements (R&A) processes for a large technology/delivery sector client.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of project management, finance/accounting expertise, operational process transformation, and data/reporting governance experience. Candidates with backgrounds in payments, disputes, chargebacks, reconciliation, operational finance, or customer compensation programs are highly relevant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives focused on Refunds & Appeasements (R&A), including governance, reporting alignment, and operational process optimization.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standardized taxonomy, and a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for R&A-related reporting and data management.
  • Partner across Finance, Operations, Product, Technology, and Reporting teams to resolve reporting discrepancies and improve operational-financial alignment.
  • Analyze reason-code level data and reporting gaps to improve visibility into refunds, credits, appeasements, settlements, and related operational costs.
  • Drive initiatives focused on improving reporting accuracy, reducing financial leakage, and strengthening operational controls.
  • Support alignment between operational reporting, General Ledger mapping, and P&L reporting structures.
  • Lead cross-functional working sessions, stakeholder management, and program execution within complex enterprise environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience leading Finance Transformation, Operational Finance, Payments Transformation, or related enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts including cost management, General Ledger structures, reconciliations, and P&L reporting.
  • Experience working across cross-functional environments involving Finance, Operations, Technology, Data, and Reporting teams.
  • Experience with governance, reporting standardization, data remediation, or enterprise reporting transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience identifying reporting gaps, process inconsistencies, and operational inefficiencies.
