Job Title: Financial Data Analyst
Location: Framingham, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting an opportunity for an experienced analytics professional to help strengthen reporting, data infrastructure, and decision-making across a product development finance environment. Our team is looking for someone who can combine technical depth with business insight to deliver scalable reporting solutions, improve data quality, and support operational and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and scalable reporting datasets.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, subqueries, and window functions.
- Build and maintain ETL and data transformation processes across multiple data sources while supporting data quality and troubleshooting.
- Develop Power BI dashboards, data models, relationships, and DAX calculations that deliver actionable business insights.
Required:
- 5–10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, finance, operations analytics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, normalization, indexing, joins, query execution, and performance tuning.
- Advanced SQL proficiency with hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Advanced Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets in test and production environments.
