Job Title: Fleet Technician
Location: Marion, Illinois (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated professionals to help maintain a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment in a vital infrastructure environment. Our team plays a key role in ensuring all maintenance, repairs, and compliance activities are performed efficiently and safely, supporting ongoing operations and reliability across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on vehicles, trailers, and motorized equipment.
- Diagnose and repair drive-train systems, chassis, AC/DC electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Keep accurate, comprehensive maintenance records in both paper and digital formats.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean working environment, completing additional tasks as assigned by the company.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or truck maintenance.
- Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brake and ability to operate manual transmission vehicles, maintained as current throughout employment.
- Valid California BAR Emissions Inspector AND Emission Repair Technician License, held and kept current as a condition of employment if required at the assigned site.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Automotive or Master Medium/Heavy Truck certification, maintained current as a condition of employment.
