Job Title: GIS Technician
Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a technically capable GIS Technician to support the collection, management, and quality control of geographic data used across key business activities. Our team is looking for a detail-oriented professional who can help maintain accurate spatial information, support GIS users, and contribute to projects that rely on reliable mapping and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and compile geographic data from maps, surveys, satellite images, and other sources.
- Digitize and enter geographic data into GIS databases with accuracy and consistency.
- Create and update GIS maps and layers while performing quality control checks on spatial data.
- Analyze geographic data, support GIS initiatives, and assist with technical support, training, and database maintenance.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, or a related field, or an equivalent certificate or associate's degree.
- Good Design experience with underground conduits and feeders
- CAD Software (GTech and Microstation Connect)
- Able to reach and understand techincal drawings
