Job Title: Govt & Cap Property Specialist
Location: Huntsville, Alabama (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our team in acquiring, managing, and disposing of government property. Our team prides itself on maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy in all property-related processes for our organization and its contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the terms of contract provisions by ensuring compliance with acquisition, control, use, and disposition of property.
- Conduct audits, document processes and procedures, and assist in investigating and reporting lost or damaged property.
- Coordinate inventory activities, maintain accurate records, and communicate property information using system tools.
- Support property disposition, inventory adjustments, and related activities in accordance with government regulations and company policy.
Required:
- Experience with government property, specifically in NASA/aerospace environments, and familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
- Knowledge or experience with property loss processes, with the ability to learn specific tools and requirements as needed.
- Auditing background, with DCMA audit experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
