Job Title: Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer 4
Location: Everett, Washington (Onsite)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team supporting flight control systems development and integration for large commercial aircraft. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring safety and regulatory compliance through rigorous engineering, analysis, and project leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, analysis, and certification of flight control systems, including requirements decomposition and traceability.
  • Coordinate and execute validation, analysis, and test efforts for flight guidance, navigation, and control solutions across multiple teams.
  • Develop and document system-level requirements and resolve requirement conflicts to support flight control and mission needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as avionics, safety, operations, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project outcomes.

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field from an accredited program.
  • 9 or more years of related work experience, or Master’s degree with 7 or more years of related work, or PhD with 4 or more years of experience.
  • Technical expertise with flight control systems, including experience in requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
  • Prior experience with system safety analysis, fault tree and failure modes analysis, as well as interfacing with regulatory requirements (such as ARP 4754/4761).
