Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting the search for an HVAC Technician opportunity that plays a key part in keeping critical facility systems operating smoothly and safely. Our team is looking to connect skilled talent with a hands-on role focused on HVAC maintenance, repairs, and building systems support across a busy Indianapolis location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders for facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment, including packaged units, chillers, boilers, and air handlers.
- Monitor building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment to support reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing issues while completing interior/exterior repairs and facility inspections as needed.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Universal EPA/CFC license required for refrigerant handling.
- Minimum four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC system design, applications, and building automation systems, along with the ability to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders, work overhead, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to drive for extended periods.
