Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (On-Site)
Shift: 2nd shift, 1:00pm-9:00pm
Job Summary: We are supporting a facility-focused opportunity for an experienced technician to help maintain reliable building operations through hands-on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing support. Our team is seeking someone who can contribute to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep critical systems performing efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC equipment including packaged units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related building components.
- Monitor building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other facility equipment to support performance and issue detection.
- Troubleshoot system issues, complete facility inspections, and carry out building repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical training or a degree in HVAC, mechanical systems, or a related field.
- Universal EPA/CFC license required for refrigerant handling.
- At least four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in packaged HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC system design, applications, and building automation systems, plus the ability to work a 2nd shift schedule Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work as needed.
