Job Title: I&E Designer
Location: Houston, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced designer to drive drafting and instrumentation management for complex engineering projects. Our team values attention to detail and expertise in engineering design standards, supporting critical plant and pipeline construction initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate project design and drafting management in accordance with industry and company standards to ensure successful project completion.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment/instrument lists for plant, pipeline, and related facility projects.
- Assist with development of project scopes, engineering/design scopes, and construction scopes of work for contract establishment and project execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, engineering, and construction teams to address design content, material specifications, and logistical issues for effective project progression.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency required; two-year college drafting degree, technical school training, or equivalent experience in CADD drafting software, processes, methods, or systems.
- A minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in a project engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience in specifying appropriate equipment for engineering projects.
- Senior-level expertise in design, including the preparation and updating of process and facility drawings, instrument tagging, and drafting to record drawings.
