Job Title: Innovation and Engineering Technician
Location: San Diego, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to support key laboratory projects designed to advance the company’s medical device innovation. Our team is committed to rigorous testing and data integrity, providing a critical foundation for project success.
Responsibilities:
- Support moderate complexity laboratory projects, completing multiple tasks while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Follow protocols and written instructions, accurately recording data in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintain assigned laboratory areas and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and ready for use.
- Prepare and present technical reports, including research findings, data analysis, and recommendations for colleagues and management.
Required:
- High School Diploma or Vocational Education is required.
- Must be comfortable handling small medical devices with good manual dexterity and working with electro-mechanical test equipment.
- Ability to use and accurately interpret measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, and laser gauges, with the capacity to apply rounding rules as needed.
- Capability to perform tasks for extended periods while standing and/or working under a microscope and following detailed protocols.
