Job Title: Inventory/Production Planner
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with a leading organization to hire an Inventory/Production Planner for a project-focused assignment supporting a lab environment. This position plays a key part in keeping stockrooms organized, ensuring materials are available when needed, and helping maintain accurate inventory control across the site.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and check incoming materials, samples, and supplies for proper labeling and documentation.
- Store materials in designated areas and retrieve items for production and lab use as requested.
- Maintain organized stockrooms, support cycle counts, and keep accurate inventory records.
- Communicate delivery timelines, follow up on product orders, and escalate issues when needed.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse or laboratory setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems (IMS).
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn, follow strict procedures and regulations, and work independently or as part of a team.
