Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer II
Location: Northborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid) with day-trip travel within Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island
Job Summary: Seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with experience supporting IT/OT infrastructure in utility or critical-infrastructure environments, including servers, networks, virtualization, security, monitoring, patching, and vulnerability management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage physical/virtual servers, VMware, Hyper-V, storage, and backups in IT/OT environments.
- Support LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and segmented networks.
- Integrate OT systems with security and monitoring tools, including agent deployment and GPOs.
- Perform SCCM/MECM patching, system monitoring, troubleshooting, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Support incident response, RCA, infrastructure assessments, audits, migrations, and disaster recovery testing.
- Support compliance with TSA cybersecurity requirements.
- Work with LNG/OT, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams on infrastructure and security projects.
Required:
- Enterprise IT/OT infrastructure experience in a utility or critical-infrastructure environment.
- Experience with segmented/secure networks.
- Working knowledge of TSA cybersecurity requirements.
- Hands-on Windows/Linux infrastructure experience.
- VMware and/or Hyper-V experience.
- SCCM/MECM patch-management experience.
- Experience with SolarWinds and Nessus or comparable monitoring/vulnerability tools.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Authority (CA), and logging.
- Experience with vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and incident response.
- Ability to work hybrid in Northborough, MA and travel for occasional day trips within MA/Providence, RI.
