Job Title: ITAM Specialist
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to support our team in managing the full lifecycle of IT hardware assets. Our focus is on accurate inventory tracking, compliance, and process improvement within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT hardware assets, including intake, tracking, redeployment, and disposal processes.
- Reconcile physical inventory with system records and analyze asset data to ensure record accuracy.
- Generate reports for audits and compliance, while maintaining and improving inventory procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and stakeholders to support asset-related objectives and resolve discrepancies.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in asset management, procurement, workstation support, or similar IT-related work.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis; Power Query proficiency preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities, with capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
