Job Title: Java Tech Lead
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a full-stack technical leader to guide the design and delivery of modern application features across backend and frontend environments. Our team is supporting a long-term initiative that values strong architecture, dependable delivery, and collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end application features across backend services and frontend applications.
- Own architecture decisions spanning APIs, UI state management, performance, security, and scalability.
- Design and build backend services, RESTful APIs, and frontend components while promoting coding standards and best practices.
- Support testing, observability, CI/CD collaboration, production support, and technical mentorship across the team.
Required:
- Experience with Java 21, Spring, and Angular or React.
- Experience with Oracle, No-SQL databases, Kafka, DevOps, CI/CD, and Git.
- Ability to work fully on-site as space is available, with potential to start hybrid as a contractor and move to fully on-site upon conversion.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
- Open to converting to a full-time employee if a need becomes available.
- Preferred: experience with Flowable or another BPMN tool.
