Job Title: Junior Application Architect
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated professional to support the design and development of software applications for this organization. Our team values innovation and collaboration, ensuring architectural integrity as we modernize critical legacy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and implementing software application architectures, including modernizing legacy technologies.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept for integrated systems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems built from Oracle and MS Access databases, including automating tools with Lisp and VBA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document designs, resolve technical debt, and ensure system interoperability.
Required:
- Experience modernizing legacy technologies with skills in migrating MS Access database and Oracle AS8 into IFS.
- Ability to develop prototypes and proofs of concept for IFS and integrated systems.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Oracle and MS Access database systems, and automating AutoCAD tools with Lisp and VBA.
- At least 2 years of experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards with multi-source data integration.
