Job Title: Land Analyst
Location: Houston, Texas (On-Site)
Industry: Oil & Gas
Required:
- Experience in land records administration, management, and documentation of pipeline systems.
- Experience correctly interpreting land-related legal descriptions, plats, alignment sheets, and maps.
- Understanding of basic terms in land agreements such as easements, permits, deeds, ordinances, and assignments.
- Basic land title experience, experience with Quorum data products, and experience with Google Earth and GIS software, including ESRI products.
Responsibilities:
- Review alignment maps, physical alignment sheets, and supporting documents to identify pipeline assets and surface ownership information.
- Organize, file, and connect land documents to the correct parcel data within the land database system.
- Verify document details, including grantor/grantee information, property descriptions, affected assets, tract details, and provision details.
- Update and audit land records as needed, and plot legal descriptions using deed plotting software when required.
