Job Title: Lead Java Developer
Location: Strongsville, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a technical specialist to drive the development of modern, data-intensive platforms for our team. Our team empowers business analysts and testing groups by delivering robust, efficient solutions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of microservices-based applications, focusing on Java/J2EE technologies and event-driven architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices in software design and development.
- Design and build REST APIs, integrating with Oracle and MSSQL databases while facilitating containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and testing teams to ensure successful delivery and support of technology solutions.
Required:
- Expert-level proficiency in Kafka and Java/J2EE technologies, with strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
- Extensive experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including hands-on query writing and integration with APIs.
- Demonstrated success with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and automated testing tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience, paired with proven abilities in leading technical teams and solving complex problems.
