Job Title: Lean Practitioner
Location: Everett, Washington (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team focused on driving continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. Our team leads critical process improvement efforts, integrating Lean practices to enhance productivity, quality, and innovation across complex programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate complex, high-visibility process improvement efforts, leveraging Lean principles and tools across manufacturing operations.
- Develop and deliver training in continuous improvement methods to internal and external partners, updating instructional materials as needed.
- Identify risks and opportunities for improvement, supporting the creation, deployment, and enhancement of new and existing Lean tools.
- Guide multi-disciplined product teams in planning, decision making, and strategic risk management to optimize technical, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing Lean principles, including identifying and executing value stream improvements and culture transformation initiatives.
- At least 5 years of experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops, such as BPSM, AIW, 3P, Kaizen, VSM, Process Mapping, AIW, and DK.
- Demonstrated proficiency in and certification with Lean tools (5S, VSM, AIW, 3P, etc.).
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Everett, Washington, including spending up to 70% of the time on the production floor and using required safety equipment.
