Job Title: LNG CAD Designer
Location: Waltham, Massachusetts (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a professional with advanced AutoCAD skills to support a critical document control and drawing management function. Our team values attention to detail and technical proficiency to ensure compliance and reliability across facility assets.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), general layouts, plans, fabrication drawings, isometrics, and pipe support details using AutoCAD.
- Set up and maintain a highly organized file system and standardized naming conventions for drawing databases.
- Conduct site visits for field verification and prepare minor civil drawings for equipment foundations and buildings.
- Coordinate with engineering staff and project teams, following Management of Change processes to keep drawing documentation accurate and current.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus an associate degree or three years of practical experience.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with CADWorx and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Demonstrated ability to walk, climb, and stand during site visits; adhere to safety protocols including personal protective equipment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively across project teams and phases.
