Job Title: LNG Construction Supervisor
Location: Brooklyn, New York (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with this company to present an opportunity for a highly capable professional to support complex construction execution at a major LNG plant. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on coordinating interfaces, driving safe delivery, and keeping projects moving across multiple stakeholders and operational priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project interfaces, schedules, dependencies, and information exchanges across operations, project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain an interface matrix for tie-ins between existing facilities and new installations, while coordinating technical meetings and documenting decisions, actions, and resolutions.
- Review design schematics, engineering documents, operating procedures, construction standards, permits, and policies to ensure plant interfaces are addressed.
- Support construction activities under supervision, monitor safety and progress, and maintain accurate records including reports, schedules, work history, and documentation exchanges.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline, or substantial directly relevant construction and field experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of natural gas or utility construction experience, with engineering or operational experience in LNG, power, or oil and gas facilities strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand design schematics, engineering documents, operating procedures, construction standards, policies, and permits.
- Knowledge of construction and natural gas industry safety practices, applicable federal safety programs, policies, and regulations, and for New York assignments, PSC Code requirements and applicable NYS, NYC DOT, municipal, and local rules and regulations.
- Experience planning and coordinating plant shutdowns, SIMOPS, tie-ins, or other activities involving multiple engineering and operational disciplines is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with Primavera and Urbint is a plus, and the ability to pass a DOT physical is required.
