Job Title: Machining Shop Technician
Location: Los Angeles, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an individual to support general machine shop operations and fabrication needs. Our team relies on this professional to ensure the seamless preparation, assembly, and troubleshooting of hardware for engineering, testing, and production projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support general machine shop activities, including fabrication, hardware preparation, and 5S responsibilities.
- Set up and operate shop equipment for the production, modification, and inspection of parts.
- Assist in assembly work, part fitting, rework, and troubleshooting to meet various engineering and production needs.
- Maintain shop safety practices, perform tool/equipment maintenance, and uphold organization within the work area.
Required:
- Experience using mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and standard shop tools.
- Proficiency in part fitting, deburring, assembly, and rework tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of shop safety practices, equipment maintenance, and 5S methodology.
- Ability to provide support for prototype, test, or production hardware.
