Job Title: Maintenance Field Planner
Location: Baytown, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated professional to support our team in maintaining accurate records and schedules within an industrial environment. Our team relies on this position to ensure maintenance work is properly planned and executed through systematic documentation, field verification, and coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Review P&ID drawings and capital project asset data; enter accurate information into maintenance CMMS software.
- Assist in developing detailed job plans by performing field walk-downs, identifying required craft resources, equipment, and materials for work execution.
- Break down scope items into actionable steps, document requirements, and update the scheduling database as tasks progress.
- Monitor progress of field activities, coordinate updates with the EPC planner, and ensure all documentation is complete and ready for scheduling.
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or operations, including familiarity with maintenance planning or scheduling.
- Strong computer skills and experience working with CMMS software, as well as proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents such as safety procedures, work procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical instruction manuals.
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, work at various heights, lift up to 50 lbs., transport up to 75 lbs., and work in a variety of positions indoors and outdoors around industrial and electrical equipment.
