Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Denver, Colorado (On-Site)
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support day-to-day building and facility upkeep for a short-term contract assignment. Our team is looking for a hands-on professional who can help keep operations running smoothly through timely repairs, routine maintenance, and responsive service across the site.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and minor electrical repairs, along with minor plumbing repairs and general building maintenance.
- Maintain lighting systems, including bulbs and ballasts, and support rekeying doors, cutting keys, and maintaining key logs.
- Assist with interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and completing tenant service requests.
- Support facility inspections, emergency response efforts, safety compliance, and the movement of office furniture, equipment, and materials as needed.
Required:
- Minimum of three years of working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
- Ability to rekey doors and cut new keys for buildings in the area.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and work independently or in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to comply with company and client-directed policies and procedures.
- Must complete background and drug testing.
