Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: South Bend, Indiana (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support facility and equipment maintenance across a fast-paced operational environment. This position plays an important part in keeping systems running safely and efficiently through hands-on repair, troubleshooting, inspections, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair facility systems and equipment, including lighting, motors, pumps, HVAC/R, plumbing, doors, and food equipment.
- Support operations through inspections, preventive maintenance, and general interior maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and assist with conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, printers, scales, networks, PLCs, and related components.
- Follow safety procedures, document work activities and materials procurement, and participate in on-call support and technical training.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and perform frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
- Hands-on electrical experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems.
- Ability to comply with company and client-directed policies and procedures, pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening, and work flexible hours/days including holidays.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
