Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Houston, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven individual to partner with operations and drive improvements in productivity across production areas. Our team values those who can facilitate continuous improvement projects and support seamless product launches within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement projects focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, continuous improvement, and new product development within the facility.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to maximize manufacturing productivity and train team members in lean and statistical tools.
- Support and evaluate manufacturing processes, partnering with design to ensure manufacturability and recommending solutions for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Champion safety standards, manage change processes for product and process launches, and oversee capital appropriation procedures.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting manufacturing operations or production environments.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated success with continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate across functions.
