Job Title: Manufacturing Systems (Automation) Engineer
Location: New Albany, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support advanced automation initiatives within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Our team is committed to driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational excellence in drug product assembly and packaging operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems and control strategies for packaging machinery and processes.
- Integrate new automation technologies and optimize control processes to improve efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, providing technical support and implementing upgrades for optimal performance.
- Lead and manage automation projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and preparing project documentation and reports.
Required:
- Master’s degree; or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of automation experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology industries; or Associate’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant automation experience; or High school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of automation experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology industries.
- Proficiency with PLCs, specifically Rockwell / Allen-Bradley platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing process/manufacturing equipment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement across commercial site networks.
