Job Title: Materials Designer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and functional specifications.
- Utilize design software to create and refine material concepts, developing prototypes to validate appearance and texture.
- Collaborate closely with color scientists and texture specialists to ensure precise color matching and texture replication.
- Evaluate materials based on properties, durability, and aesthetic qualities, recommending sustainable options that meet project goals.
Required:
- Highly organized with fluency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Advanced knowledge of footwear and apparel materials design for performance and lifestyle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office, with the ability to maintain material databases across multiple interfaces.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience.
