Job Title: Materials Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Materials Designer to join our team. Our focus is on driving value in footwear materials design, leveraging expertise in creating cost-effective, quality-driven products.
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative materials solutions for Kids and CORE consumer segments, ensuring adherence to cost margins.
- Collaborate with design teams to enhance storytelling through materials, impacting brand strategy.
- Lead projects that involve setting up materials numbers, ensuring alignment with seasonal gates.
- Utilize industry-specific software such as CLO, Viscom, and Adobe to advance design projects.
Required:
- Minimum of 2+ years in Footwear Materials Design with expertise in Kids and CORE business operations.
- Proven ability to manage materials cost margins and function within project budget constraints.
- Experience with genuine and synthetic leathers, understanding both differentiation and application.
- Strong proficiency in design software including CLO, Viscom, Adobe, and CAD.
