Job Title: Materials Designer
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Materials Designer. Our team thrives on creativity and collaboration, focusing on innovative footwear design that elevates the consumer experience and shapes the future for the next generation of athletes and fans.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with design partners in product, color, and graphic design to create innovative footwear solutions.
- Translate consumer insights into compelling product narratives and solutions.
- Present new insights or seasonal concepts to both small and large groups effectively.
- Build accurate 2D technical drawings and craft mockup samples by hand.
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in footwear, material, or product design.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, with a focus on sustainable design.
- Previous experience with Nike and local candidates only.
