Job Title: MCS Associate Quality Control
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to support quality control operations at a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing site. Our team collaborates closely to perform analytical and microbiological testing in a regulated laboratory environment, ensuring compliance and accuracy at every step.
Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental monitoring and analytical testing, including pipetting, agar plate colony observation, and water testing in a microbiology laboratory setting.
- Manage and coordinate assigned laboratory tasks, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and/or SmartLab (LMES) for data entry and results management with high efficiency and accuracy.
- Support laboratory operations with routine tasks such as maintaining equipment, organizing and cleaning the lab, archiving documentation, and preparing for audits and inspections.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (such as Life Sciences) and at least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience with laboratory benchwork, including GMP exposure, aseptic technique, and microbiology analytical testing.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), SmartLab (LMES), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to frequently sit, perform fine hand manipulation, handle agar plates, and lift or carry objects up to 15 pounds while using personal protective equipment as required.
