Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 5
Location: Dallas, Texas
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure project compliance with codes and standards.
- Develop and maintain schedules for mid to large projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Assist in producing HVAC and plumbing system deliverables for new buildings and renovations.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
- Mentor and share knowledge with staff.
- Oversee energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis.
- Lead creation of 2D drawings in REVIT.
- Provide construction period services.
- Deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Proficiency in building mechanical codes and load calculations.
- Strong HVAC/Plumbing design skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in Federal projects or building controls systems design is advantageous.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Completion of pre-employment requirements as per regulations.
