Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent
Location: Livermore , California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the field operations for mechanical and HVAC equipment installations in a vital federal facility. Our team relies on this position to drive construction efficiency, ensure safety standards, and coordinate successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead field operations in the assigned area, managing mechanical construction activities including piping, equipment installs, and compliance with project schedules.
- Oversee and document site safety, productivity, material usage and subcontractor performance to maintain high standards and efficient progression of work.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, and QA/QC teams to verify compliance with specifications and support the development of record set documents.
- Authorize changes, supervise subcontractors, manage project staffing, and ensure site materials and documentation are up to date and compliant with all requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of construction management or craft supervision experience on mechanical projects; or Associate degree with 9 years; or High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of related experience.
- Strong background in federal projects or HVAC-related mechanical construction.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and leadership, with a commitment to safety best practices.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to meet company driving requirements.
