Job Title: Merchandise Planner
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a Merchandise Planner to support merchandise planning, forecasting, and inventory decision-making for a dynamic retail environment. This position plays a key part in building financial plans, analyzing business performance, and helping shape strategies that support profitable, consumer-focused assortments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pre-season style plans that support financial goals and inventory objectives.
- Recap business performance and forecast sales and inventory on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Build and maintain reporting tools, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to planning and merchandising partners.
- Support monthly and seasonal inventory management, including open to buy forecasts, pricing review, and product lifecycle activities.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including merchandise planning experience in a retail environment.
- Microsoft Excel skills at a high-intermediate to advanced level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share actionable insights from multiple data sources.
- Ability to independently drive toward a clear outcome with an unclear path, organize information from multiple sources, and shape repeatable processes.
- Preferred: intermediate data manipulation and visualization skills, such as Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or PowerBI; retail planning, merchandising, inventory management, or related operational experience; and experience communicating with executive and non-technical audiences.
