Job Title: Millwright
Location: Baytown, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright to support the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This opportunity offers hands-on work in an industrial environment where precision, safety, and problem-solving are essential to keeping operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to identify irregularities and perform repairs or part replacements as needed.
- Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or equipment setup.
- Support preventive maintenance activities, maintain accurate maintenance documentation, and follow workplace safety and environmental requirements.
Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Safety Council certification required.
- TWIC Card required.
- Ability to read written safety procedures, work procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and technical instruction manuals.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Basic computer skills, including creating and updating content in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to live or relocate within 1 hour of the reporting location and to take call-outs and work overtime.
