Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable resource to maintain and operate HVAC, refrigeration, and building facility systems for a critical site. Our team values expertise in technical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, prioritizing safe and efficient facility operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems to ensure maximum efficiency and life expectancy.
- Perform preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical and electrical systems, reporting on conditions and updating work order status in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo.
- Conduct facility inspections and provide due diligence reporting on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
- Maintain accurate records of past operating experiences, submit daily P-card receipts, and ensure readiness for call-in work as required.
Required:
- Universal CFC recovery certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, including experience with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
- Proficient knowledge of overall system design, applications, and commercial or supermarket refrigeration troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Valid state driver’s license and willingness to join UFCW 951 as required by the assignment.
