Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment across multiple locations. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who brings strong HVAC knowledge, well-rounded maintenance skills, and excellent communication to a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, repairs, and general upkeep across mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Travel between multiple facilities to help ensure equipment and building systems remain in proper working order.
- Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment through cleaning, inspection, calibration, and parts replacement as needed.
- Support safety and operational standards by following procedures, maintaining housekeeping, and identifying hazards with practical solutions.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience required, including experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine causes of problems, and take corrective action.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification required.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel, along with a valid driver’s license.
