Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a Mobile Engineer focused on maintaining and repairing essential building systems across assigned facilities. Our goal is to connect talented professionals with a role where technical expertise, problem-solving, and dependable field support help keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment.
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior and exterior areas, grounds, and production equipment.
- Carry out facility inspections and due diligence efforts, and report on conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations.
- Use CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed, update work order status in real time, and submit P-card receipts daily.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Universal CFC recovery certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of overall system design and applications, plus the ability to troubleshoot and maintain commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
