Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Mobile Engineer to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of facility systems across a mobile service area covering Columbus, OH and surrounding locations. Our team is looking for someone who can help keep HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems running efficiently and safely while supporting day-to-day work orders and inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive and repair response work orders on facility systems, equipment, and related components.
- Maintain building interiors and exteriors, including fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, walls, flooring, and grounds as assigned.
- Complete inspections, submit P-card receipts daily, update work order status in real time, and use CMMS systems such as Corrigo for work performed.
Required:
- Universal CFC recovery certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair, and maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
- High school diploma or GED, plus a valid state driver’s license and availability for call-in work.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Preferred: two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC, plus experience using CMMS work order systems.
