Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing a company seeking a Mobile Engineer to support the safe, efficient operation of facility systems and equipment. This opportunity offers the chance to keep critical building operations running smoothly through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders for facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior and exterior areas, and related production equipment.
- Complete facility inspections and due diligence efforts, and report conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations.
- Update work order status in real time, submit P-card receipts daily, and use CMMS systems for all work performed.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Universal CFC recovery certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
- Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair, and maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
- Valid state driver’s license and availability for call-in work.
- Preferred: Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC; experience using CMMS work order systems; working knowledge of Word and Excel.
