Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Rochester, New York (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing this company in the search for a Mobile Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment across multiple locations. This opportunity offers the chance to play a key part in keeping critical building systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Travel between multiple facilities to support proper operation and functionality across locations.
- Maintain preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance oversight, and general maintenance activities.
- Inspect, adjust, and service HVAC systems and associated equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, with the ability to analyze commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, diagnose malfunctions, and perform corrective actions.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred qualifications include EPA 608 Universal Certification and two years of trade school education in electrical system design, refrigeration, or HVAC systems.
