Job Title: Mobile Engineer HVAC/R
Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team to support the efficient and safe operation of critical building systems. Our focus is on ensuring facility equipment is maintained, promptly serviced, and operating optimally to maximize both safety and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing preventive and repair response tasks for facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, and other installed systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, including electrical distribution and plumbing systems, and conduct building and grounds inspections as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, complete hazard assessments, and participate in safety meetings and required trainings.
- Update work order statuses in real time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo; escalate issues to management promptly and perform administrative tasks including vehicle safety inspections and P-card receipt submissions.
Required:
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience covering building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance and repair.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Universal CFC recovery certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to participate in an on-call schedule, responding to call-ins as required.
