Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment at designated facilities. Our team relies on this position to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently, maintain a safe environment, and address maintenance needs promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and inspection of building systems and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen systems.
- Assist HVAC/R Mobile Engineers and Control Systems Technicians in maintenance efforts, along with independently executing assigned tasks.
- Respond to special requests including minor plumbing repairs, interior maintenance, painting, locksmith services, and general upkeep.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance situations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Required:
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a technical training program is desirable, with at least one year of relevant experience in general building repair, maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 feet, and perform frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving duties.
