Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Technician
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support essential maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment at assigned facilities. Our team values your ability to ensure smooth, reliable functioning of critical building systems through proactive inspections and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the operations team with maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment, including kitchen equipment such as meat grinders, cubers, slicers, and more.
- Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs, maintain lighting systems, and address issues with motors and pumps.
- Conduct Fuel Center UST inspections and dispenser maintenance; complete preventive maintenance tasks on food equipment.
- Provide general interior maintenance including auto/overhead doors, support for conveyors and sortation systems, and respond to additional tasks as assigned.
Required:
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening processes.
- Hold UST Class B Certification or willingness to complete company-provided training.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, plus a minimum of one year of experience in general building repair, maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
