Job Title: Move Technician
Location: McPherson, Kansas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a hands-on opportunity supporting workplace moves, office setup, and general facility upkeep. We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in detail, and can contribute to a safe, organized, and productive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Relocate and reconfigure office equipment, furniture, and materials for associates moving between site locations.
- Assemble and disassemble modular office furniture, cubicles, and related office layouts.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including installing shelves, hanging whiteboards, making minor repairs, and assisting with light mechanical work.
- Support daily operations by documenting completed work orders, maintaining tools and supplies, and following safety protocols at all times.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand furniture assembly instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Experience with drywall preparation and repair, painting, hanging TVs/monitors/whiteboards, furniture assembly/disassembly, mechanical aptitude, and some basic plumbing knowledge.
- Reliable transportation, strong communication skills, customer service orientation, good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
