Job Title: Network Construction Manager
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Construction Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects within the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with a focus on telecommunications infrastructure, and will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, with local field travel required 2-3 days per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all construction aspects for our client's projects, including vendor selection and on-site management.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Attend meetings as a subject matter expert and develop strong customer relationships.
- Conduct site visits for various stages of construction and provide guidance to contractors.
- Negotiate project costs and ensure competitive rates for quality work.
- Maintain accurate project files and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in vendor management and MS Office/Excel.
- Experience with small cell construction and node drawing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of construction management and site acquisition procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints and diagnose workflow issues.
- Familiarity with NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma required.
- Valid driver's license.
- 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications/wireless construction.
- Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction techniques.
- Familiarity with RF Sweep test, OTDR, and PIM testing.
