Job Title: Operations Manager – Junior
Location: Herman, Minnesota (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on professional to support daily facility operations in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. This role plays an important part in keeping work areas safe, organized, and efficient while supporting inventory handling and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out general labor duties promptly and efficiently while following company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Prepare trucks and railcars for loading and unloading, and support load out functions and automated scale/dump systems.
- Perform housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and facility upkeep tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping, and spill cleanup.
- Monitor equipment and inventory, complete required record keeping, and communicate safety concerns, maintenance needs, and customer issues to a supervisor.
Required:
- Must meet the minimum age requirement.
- At least 1 year of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons and maintain a Monday through Sunday schedule with 12+ hour days.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Agriculture experience preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins, and work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
