Job Title: Operations Specialist
Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the monitoring, coordination, and response activities that help keep critical building systems operating smoothly and safely. This position is a strong fit for someone who brings technical aptitude, clear communication, and a calm approach to fast-moving situations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor alarms and manage critical building mechanical, fire, and life safety systems through Building Automation Systems.
- Track, escalate, and communicate incidents that may affect operations while following established protocols.
- Support field operations by troubleshooting equipment, reviewing trend reports, and performing system overrides when needed.
- Prepare shift reports, process work orders, dispatch technicians, and coordinate building shutdown activities and vendor approvals.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Degree or coursework in a technology-related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Understanding of technology, software applications, and computer systems is required.
- Ability to analyze system operations, identify malfunctions, and take corrective action is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in stressful or emergency situations are required.
