We’re a leading force in healthcare innovation, committed to advancing clinical trials and improving patient outcomes. Our Research & Development division is seeking a dynamic and strategic thinker to join our team as an Outsourcing Manager – Clinical Development.

Position Overview:

  • In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee in-house and outsourced clinical trials, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and driving project success. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish and maintain vendor partnerships, and support the outsourcing team in achieving our research objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Outsourcing Activities: Lead the selection, contracting, and execution of outsourced studies to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure Project Success: Drive successful outcomes by meeting short-term objectives and adhering to project schedules.
  • Support Team Excellence: Provide support to the outsourcing team, contributing to alliance management, financial accountability, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate Effectively: Facilitate clear communication with internal stakeholders regarding contractual issues and provide operational expertise and guidance.
  • Align with Strategy: Ensure alignment with organizational outsourcing strategies, providing training and support as needed.
  • Maintain Compliance: Uphold compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, and procurement policies.
  • Forge Partnerships: Collaborate with operational teams and service providers to establish and maintain clinical trial vendor partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Legal Studies, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of contract management experience with direct negotiation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Clinical Development, with a strong understanding of clinical operations.
  • Proven experience interacting with a variety of suppliers in the clinical trials environment.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including time management and prioritization.
  • Leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and influence within a matrix structure.
