Job Summary:
Join a prestigious law firm in Mount Pleasant, SC, as an Experienced Litigation Paralegal. You'll play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and senior paralegals with complex litigation cases. This onsite position demands strong independent judgment and the ability to handle high-volume casework efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with case review and development for attorneys and senior paralegals.
- Conduct witness interviews through various communication methods.
- Perform fact investigations and aid in claims processing and settlement preparation.
- Review and summarize medical records.
- Conduct legal research using platforms like WESTLAW and LEXIS.
- Organize and maintain both physical and electronic case files.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with document review platforms like Relativity is a plus.
- Strong research skills using WESTLAW and/or LEXIS.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
