Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Late Shift
Location: Whippany, New Jersey (On-site)

Job Summary: We are searching for empathetic professionals to provide support enabling access to care for prescription medications within a high-volume contact center environment. Our team interacts directly with patients, physicians, and pharmacies, guiding each through the processes of copay assistance programs and delivering a seamless, positive experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and claims, supporting patients, physicians, and pharmacies with access to care and reimbursement needs.
  • Deliver clear program information, eligibility details, and reimbursement support while ensuring program goals and medication adherence.
  • Escalate complex requests as needed, collaborating with internal teams such as Program Management, IT, and other Contact Center units for issue resolution.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including mail sorting and claims processing, and contribute to other departments as required.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of experience in health care or case management, preferably within a high-volume contact center or similar environment.
  • Strong customer empathy and communication skills, including effective listening, clear communication, and proficiency in writing with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Knowledge or experience in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing preferred, with adaptability and problem-solving skills prioritized.
